Stuff I’m waiting to write about, for sure, like, definitely, as soon as I get round to it:
10.08.10 Four Ways to Explain Anything to Anybody – but not everybody
I’ve probably not got that title right, but it’s related to my ideas on explaining and The Rule of Four.
10.08.10 Verbal Overshadowing
Just how powerful are words? Easy to overthink, over-interpret this one?
10.08.10 Fourth Culture One: Two: Three: Four: Five
10.08.10 The City is a Battlesuit Mk II
10.08.10 The Overton Window
The Overton Window is a tool? How could you track it, visualise it? Wouldn’t this be a valuable service by newspapers? It’s a similar idea to Jay Rosen’s spheres? (The spheres aren’t really Jay Rosen’s but occasionally you write a phrase and it sounds a bit like the name of some NYC art-rock band or the name of a found-art exhibition and it becomes difficult to delete, even though it’s inaccurate and makes little sense other than as a mnemonic. . .)
10.08.10 Not a Word is not an Argument
At what point did people stop enjoying word inventingisationification?
